Lend a limb for love.

Perennial is the facet of a river   Can it be accorded to her?   Persistent is the asset of a spring,   Can that tenor ring true of him?   Pervasive  would the tone in her voice,   Can  it brook  trust amid vice?   Poignant are the memories puncturing my thoughts,   Is that a mirror of problems fraught?   Passive  became a friendship,   As the mind wrestled with courtship .   Portentous was  her  claim,   Of   longevity  and its eventual maim.   Probing her senses,   Of fulfillment and satisfaction ,   Of desires and dreams,   Of fantasy and reality, I  resolve  to reap  the fruit  of love   Latent in the weeds of rejection.   Aid me in this search, oh friend,   For no fiend  w ould  value a mind as much !

Life's escort

We step in not alone But with a nexus to our mom. That nexus man’s tool severs, But never doth it, the seemingly apparent relationship. As time flits by, moms recede and friends proceed Into our lives, some firm, and some for benefit. The latter induce tears, as flattery so often does, Who sheds them not? Shed them alone, you remain forlorn, Shed them on a shoulder, you emerge stronger.

Of patience and willingness.

The tides attack the shore, And attack ain’t attack when intensity lowers. Lost in an array of swirling thoughts, That feature only at lights off, Never would anyone understand. Timing enjoying prominence, Blood-pumpers shunned such a virtue Accounting for exceptions. Thorough back-checks are the norm, To love, not all. To shovel for such a person, Needs an entire span, or not? Censure yourself with baskets and rebounds. Half-hearted attacks never ended in smile-spreads. Interest in else warrants the same.

An ode to a cherished friend

Every word uttered in the mad rush of a day, Journeys back to haunt me in the dark’s calm. Those that occurred with him bears no exception. Stuck with regret over petty fights that doth not warrant a cut Yet, so happened. The resplendent ray of sunshine, That illuminates a particularly boring two dozen hours, Will surely not be shunned by beating hearts of any type. Such and more was his smile, Sweeping swiftly through a vast expanse of the populace unhindered, Portraying no exceptions, Albeit me.

Sequential Chaos

Oh my! How mundane a life we lead! The routine; the cycle; of opening doors at dawn and not-so-short naps at night. Seamless transitions of those two truants do harm, That if undone, Would prove life rich and fulfilling. Sequence snaps bring forth impedance sure enough, But never has it been said “Stagnate till death under composure’s veil” And never will it be.

Trials in darkness.

You drift off into the slumber, not so peaceful I may say, You beg to differ, only that you are wishing, Why not, I ask, You fail to trust people with your meandering, again,I reason you? And you serve me no retorts. Well, that is how you were moulded, and your moulders too.

Agony of a lost friend.

The losses tug at my heart, With a force never congruent with materialistic entities. Even as two replaced two, Comparison vestigial and always untrue. The crease created below the essence of survival, And his continued sustenance of effort to that maintenance, Never can be begot by penance. Inducing such short-lived moments, since only possible by also-rans, Resolute persistence rendered him unmatched yet tainted glory, In my world-windows. Was he adept at calm and storm and blunders galore! Alas! Revisits remain mired in lore.
